Since opening his studio more than 30 years ago in Chicago at the end of the 70's, the American photographer Dave Jordano has been successful in creating advertising campaigns for some of the biggest companies. At the same time he has also managed a career as an artist producing original work that combines elements of documentry, anthropology and aesthetics.
From duck blinds for hunting game, to Afro-American churches, passing over bridges in Chicago, through voids or the American countryside, by assembling them in meticulous detail, Jordano explores the attachment between people and place.
Jordano currently lives and works in Chicago and has been the recipient of numerous photography prizes in America and has appeared in a number of both public and private collections.
