Based in London, the young photographer haunts the ballet theatres, the rehearsal rooms and training. Fascinated by the passion that drives these sculpted bodies and defines the space in which they work, Nakayama, composes scenes meticulously constructed of individuals and groups where their identities merge into one. Her work has been on display in numerous international exhibitions (AOP OPEN 2007, AOP Gallery: Photographic Portrait Prize 2006, NPG).
