Kerstin Zu Pan, a photographer from Berlin, brings beauty to places where it may be least expected. Her dreamlike, fantastical imaginary world deconstructs reality and dresses it up again in unexpected colours and with incongruent contours. Moments captured as snapshots of imagined scenes; the artist shapes the bizarre and undefined into an extreme state of reality. Bodies transfixed; posing and performing acrobatic movements in mid-air this is Kerstin Zu Pan’s theatre where masks are worn freely in an almost euphoric admission of an undeniable passion for things that are not quite what they seem.
