Having worked independently since 2006, French photographer Antoine Mercusot focuses his work on architectural and documentary style photography. Ever since his last year of studies at the Ecole de photographie de Toulouse, he has been preoccupied by a personal project in which the presiding theme places man at the heart of society. Arranged according to his imagination, he composes imaginary scenes inspired by reality and people in undefined transit. Like modern myths, his photographs display threads of the fanciful and the tangible deftly intertwined.
