Vincent Muracciole photographs life and its little details as would a dancer, with a slight step to the side that diverts, sublimates and enchants. Most of his images are created with experimental apparatus, such as the Toy Camera, that he modifies according to his needs before the shoot. In his fantasy landscapes, character-silhouettes and barely blurred perspectives bring a fairy tale kind of strangeness, just as the scale of beings and things is completely perturbed. The photographic universe remains nonetheless that of the modern world, in which he simply re-integrates an unexpected bit of the marvelous.
