To the Argentine artist, who is settled in Paris, all techniques are good (photography, sculpture, drawing, music or multimedia) to make us share its urban and sensitive ramblings. Pedro Marzorati conceives his photographic gesture as the one of a painter. He uses the camera in the style of a paintbrush, by always drawing around his subject some blooms of light and by composing his images as paintings, with touches of color obtained by playing on photographic installation time. It is the amplitude of the artist’s movement at the viewing time which gives their dynamics to his compositions. In his dreamlike universe and rich in symbols, the red, green and orange lights express alternately what is forbidden or what is authorized. Against the current of contemporary tendency, his works do not undergo any digital alteration, every image is the fruit of a creative spontaneity, an inspiration of the immediate moment.
