From photography that aims to capture “spiritual consciousness” to a more sociological dynamic, Jean-Robert Dantou is dedicated to exploring all possible dimensions. His acquired eclecticism allows him to diversify from documentative photojournalism, to assume a more reflective stance. Refusing to be confined either by theory or concept, he has made himself a career that is both atypical and errant. Unrestricted, his lens is able to wander freely, crossing from Chinese minority groups to the blue romantic coasts of India.
