Britta Jaschinski, is a nature photographer, dedicated to revealing the sometimes overlooked beauty of our surroundings. Fascinated by the animal world, she shows creatures kept in captivity, fragile, disorientated by the imprisoned surroundings of the zoo. With her series "Wild Things" Jaschinski brings to our attention, a series of thought provoking images of animals, and their habitat. In her gallery of portraits she brings to each species a certain sense of pride and depth through a sensitive and committed perspective of the world.
