Macao, Hong-Kong or Tokyo; from the Arizonan desert and the Feroe Islands, to the Icelandic countryside Martin Bruno likes to define himself as a wandering photographer. In brief moments of “illumination” he captures with his lens landscapes, hills, hills rolling out into plains and faces defined by the landscape in which they live. Bruno has put together a personal album, his inspiration derived from solitary walks, and from all the beauty that he sees in the places that he visits. “My roles of film encased in yellow Kodak shells can transform into little drops of gold in the darkened depths of my laboratory. During my journeys I keep my films close to me, imagining what they will reveal on my return”.
