For over fifteen years, Jérôme Brézillon has compiled a unique collection of works. After his first journey to Bosnia in 1992 to his more recent exploits in America, he has explored towns caught in the ravages of war, reinterpreted the cinematic universe of Jeanne Moreau, and delved into the significance and implications of the penal code. Extending beyond the boundaries of simple reportage, his objective is to record places that seem worlds apart, but that exist side by side, illustrated by graphic scenes which often seem undefined by material dimensions; of spaces unclad and strangely calm, devoid of man, but ever-present even in his absence. Winner of many grants and author of many works, Jérôme Brézillon is regularly featured in Télérama, Libération and Géo.
