Working as a photographer for over twenty years, Simon Warmer is dedicated to finding the aesthetic dimension of objects which are to be found in his scenes of a community, of utilitarianism, of miners, of abandoned factories and urban wasteland. In the intimacy of his studio, he uses photographic enhancing tools to create the conditions of a darkroom and which allow him to exaggerate the dimensions of an image or experiment with the contrasts to find the body that expresses the soul. Through his heightened sense of the aesthetic, these industrial settings have become places laden with visual surprises.
