Thobias Fäldt unmasks the strange and slightly bizarre from behind the banalities of everyday existence. Fäldt’s sequences follow the path of a labyrinth, with no apparent logic, creating thus a narrative that has escaped the formalities of living. Beings and things caught crudely on camera, in instant shot, the flash goes off and they are overexposed in an unforgiving light. His is an aesthetic turned back to front, devoid of special effects; it is an enchanting ode prosaically framed.
