From the Garden of Eden to the deluge, suffocating nature and hidden snakes, foreshadow a foretold apocalypse. Reconstituted images. Arnaud Baumann superimposes photographs as a painter would with colour, using light as the unifying force. A self confessed piece, it is a disquieting vision of the world, Hell and Paradise marry universal symbols with trademarks of our century, from a tree to a factory chimney. In this mental and prophetic setting, man brings about his own extinction to the benefit of the earth.
