By putting forward in every image an encounter with her mirror, Marie Docher makes appear the vision of initiatory roads. The photographer so investigates, in her way, the eternal subject of return to nature, that is a common desire to all spiritualities. In her snow-covered landscapes, vertical height of trees, which are symbols of human condition, is opposed to a double unfamiliar universe to pass through. It is an universe inspired by an unrestrained desire of evolution, opened to all mental and visual projections.
