SCOTTISH LANDSCAPE
Ocean merged in its perpetual waves and immovable landscapes evaporating in a powdery light. Some primitive marks, like luminosity and length of the carried shadows, still guide us.
" By involving unattainable skyline, this batch of pinholes reminds us those childhood tales the collective unconscious of which is swum in".
Gina Glover's eye, which is contemplative and unsettling, returns to an original perception of time, free from violent contemporary pace.
Landscapes print the negative by means of a tiny hole of needle acting as an objective, which is drilled in the wooden box that forms the pinhole. While our eye hardly needs sixth of second to memorize an information, the exposure time drags on during several minutes.
" The pinhole allows me to drawl the photographic moment and to keep away its temporal limits because it becomes like malleable.  Because this process treats the light as a succession of layers, the subject soaks in a light unpredictable vagueness. Time is almost stopped, in symbiosis with temporality of the ocean and eternal rhythm of the seasons. "
