INDUSTRY OF IMAGES Against the current trend of immediate image production, here we see Berlin in an atmosphere of calm. Using long poses, the images are developed, scanned, printed, then photographed again, rescanned, and reprinted. Each stage leaves traces, marks, a covering of dust that the photographer endeavours to remove, in addition to the presence of the intermediary that exists between reality and representation. A questioning of time, but also of transparency. Another means of opposing the dogma of instant photography, leaving room for the soul of the creator to shine through.
