Dubai, an eternal winter, snow covers the desert. Under a round dome, men give themselves up to the cold. From this landscape “within”, Stéphanie Solinas photographs this passing madness, this artificial nature. Man confined, contemplates the mountain through an optical illusion. From this multifarious reality is born a new aesthetic, glacial and frozen. Magnificent nature, a child’s game, born from the exaggeration of a society of pleasure.
