"I have lived with them, shared with them their daily life; I was their silent witness" Franco Zecchin spent six years travelling in the company of nomads from five different continents. Captured in black and white, the bitter-sweet essence of the everyday is exposed. "I like their relationship with nature and their ability to discover ressources in places apparently devoid of anything. They make use of what this earth has to offer without destroying it". It is with deep respect, and a sense of formal precision akin to documentaries, that the Italian photographer asks us this question "What will become of these people from whom we are taking the earth little by little."
