A hotel full of empty rooms. The mattress leaning against the wall is rescued from its primary and trivial function because its status changes through photography and the disruptions in texture and chroma brought to light by the camera. Through Mario Palmieri's lens, the anodyne cloth rectangle becomes its own person, lozenge or diamond. An exercise in style aiming to show that beauty resides in all things.
