Of polish origin and now living in London, Olga Hoffman tells the story of the loneliness of big city. Depicting dinners for one, her own apartment provides the backdrop where she cooks dinners for her models. While they eat, Hoffman is at liberty to let her lens wander over and pause on these faces, calm in composure, in her search for the emotions that underpin these strange meals, eaten all alone with no guests.
