Inside her camera obscura, Nilu Izadi explores the sky in large format. Manually, she opens and closes the shutter, in time with the slow movement of clouds pushed by her assistant the wind. From the film to paper, she etches a brief moment in time, the fruit of pure chance and contingency. Atmospheric images, where light casts on shapes a dreamlike quality. Nature transcended by a vision simple and serene.
